Autumn of my Homeland - Armenia in 4K
Filmed during the most beautiful time of the year in Armenia. Autumn is probably the best season for visiting. Lakes and forests, mountains and historical monuments, painted with astonishing colors of nature !
Shooting locations include Parz Lake in Dilijan, Lastiver waterfalls and forests of Ijevan, Noravank monastery in Yeghegnadzor, Makaravank church complex in Tavush Region, Akhtala monastery in Lori,
Khor Virap in Ararat Region.
The idea of making a documentary in Armenia was in my mind for several years, but only now I started thinking less and doing more. So I gathered my gear and headed to the North West of Armenia, where I was welcomed with warm sun and colorful forests. Then the weather and nature radically changed in South Eastern part, fog coming down the mountains, some showers. Eventually I gathered enough for the first part of my film, that I have dedicated to my brothers and sisters and all Armenians that live far from their Homeland.
I'm certain this will be continued, as there is still so much to see and share from Armenia.
